EPL Whispers

Might these two be a likely pairing? I seriously hope not, despite the rumours going around. As a Liverpool supporter, I would hate to see Michael put on MUFC colours. It will feel like a betrayal. Lots of other Liverpool supporters will probably feel the same way, even though he now plays for that Geordie team which currently lies in 13th position in the 20-team EPL.

The BBC reported only a few hours ago that in addition to Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool (Yaay!) are all interested in buying him, possibly for as little as £9 million.

Mr Benitez, please buy Michael. We want him back at the Kop. Mr Shepherd, you can bugger off. We want Michael back.

By the way, we'd like to buy Steven Taylor too.
