Jewel In The Palace

My mum's taken to watching a Korean television drama recently. It's English title is "Jewel In The Palace" but the Korean translation is "Dae Jang-geum" or in Chinese, "Da Chang Jin" which is rather more appropriate as my mum's watching the version which has been dubbed in Mandarin.

More about the plot can be found here but the reason why the drama interests me is because of the very handsome male lead, played by Korean actor Ji Jin Hee who plays the part of an officer in the imperial guard, Min Jeong Ho who is the lead actress' love interest.

He looks very dishy in traditional Korean dress:

As you can tell, I don't much care for the drama itself but it has entertainment value, not least of which is a very handsome leading man.
