An Evening With J

I met J near Festival Hall this evening and had a drink at the BFI bar before taking a stroll to Soho for dinner. Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with him. J was his usual charming and modest self and while we were together, I felt the same rush of happiness being with him this time as did when we first met. I hope he enjoyed being with me as much I as I enjoyed being with him.

Before we met, I'd promised to give him a rock from my collection (I gave him one with a bit of what might be garnet in it) and he surprised me by giving me this shell.

Afterwards, he came back to my place and we spent some time getting to know each other better. Unfortunately he couldn't stay the night as he had matters to attend to the next day but it would have been a dream come true for me to wake up next to him in the morning. Perhaps that dream might stilll yet come true. We've got plans to meet up again next weekend.
