Self-Exploration

Sorry I've not been posting entries for a while. My life has been a bit of a roller-coaster since I joined Shell. Mostly good but it's not left me much time for introspection.

I've been doing some reflection these last few weeks and have reached the following conclusions:

1. I initially saw blogging as self-indulgent but it's become a tool for self-discovery; and

2. I think I'm reading to start dating again.

Perhaps 2 follows from 1 but I'll explore these in later entries.

In the meantime, I hope to post a retrospective entry about the end of the Rugby World Cup sometime this weekend and also a few things (in a separate post) as to what's been going on in my head these last few weeks.

I've been sitting at home all weekend drafting contracts for a series of meetings starting on Monday and while drafting contracts, it's helped to focus my mind on some of the things in my life outside of work - strange but true.
